hmm i should probably look into that cream stuff for my body. i cant use a lot of face moisturizers cuz i’ll break out easily, so i usually just use clean and clear dual action stuff… it’s got salicylic acid, which probably doesnt help the dryness, but i dont break out. urgh.

Dude, Leafy is the expert on dry skin, so I don’t even know why I’m responding. Well actually I have more dry face problems than she does. I was in SoCal using Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief (had a sample size, easy for traveling) and the stuff did not do enough for me. I was peeling from dryness. Smiling hurt. I should’ve realized because the last time I went to Socal and then to Maryland in the winter, I was so dried out (and whining) that Leaf bought me Lancome RARE something or other (which my MOM uses!) and that really helped. Anyway, the point is, change your moisturizer, it can make a big difference. I use jojoba oil (http://www.danielkern.com/category-s/28.htm) sometimes as body moisturizer and I like that. You could maybe try that in addition to a good lotion.

Curel is a pretty good body lotion for very dry skin. If that’s not strong enough, go to Aquaphor or Eucerin creams. Also, what kind of face moisturizer are you using? You might want to switch from a lotion to a thicker cream.
