I once saw a small lapdog locked in a car (no window cracked) on a hot hot day and I went into the grocery store to tell the manager. He acted like it was none of his business so I called the cops to come open the door. Luckily the owners came out. It's not like they forgot the dog in the back seat! They deliberately left it there and didn't even open the window. That just makes me mad. They told me it was okay, they left water in the car. I wanted them to sit in that hot oven and tell me water is sufficient to tolerate the heat. I think you can call the police if you don’t know the number for animal control.
